Magia vine uneori din cele mai simple lucruri: sunete, imagini, momente, trăiri. Eu am reușit să trăiesc luna trecută un pic din magia copilăriei mele. După vizionarea mult așteptatului film Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them, de care m-am bucurat super mult, am avut ocazia să citesc și cartea cu același nume.
Universul magic pe care l-am descoperit în seria Harry Potter a fost reinventat de J.K. Rowling (and co.) într-un mod diferit, vibe-ul anilor ’20 fiind cel care le-a oferit personajelor și locurilor un farmec aparte.
Această carte este prima de tip scenariu de film pe care J.K. Rowling o scrie, și este și o primă lectură de acest fel pentru mine. Cu toate că în acest an citisem și scenariul piesei de teatru pentru Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, am sesizat o diferență între cele două scenarii.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them este o carte care arată absolut superb (magic!), coperta albastră cu ilustrații galbene și aurii fiind prima care te face curios. Coperta interioară, și ea tot albastră, îl include și pe un mic prieten amuzant, o creatură denumită Niffler. Acest animal fantastic, asemănător cu o cârtiță, are o atracție ieșită din comun pentru bijuterii, așa că nu este de mirare că ilustrația sa de pe copertă are tonuri aurii, lucind ca aurul. ^_^
Cotorul cărții este și el superb, și m-am bucurat să văd copertele interioare colorate într-un verde smarald presărat cu steluțe galbene.
Pentru o persoană care deja vizionase filmul, cartea a fost o reamintire exactă a acestuia, replicile și descrierile scenariului fiindu-mi deja (aproape) întipărite în minte. M-am bucurat foarte mult să descopăr un alt tip de expunere al acțiunii unei cărți. Nu mi-a luat mult să mă obișnuiesc cu organizarea de tip scenariu, fiind imediat adâncită în lectura simpatică.
Nu mă așteptam ca această carte (sau filmul) să fie amuzantă. Nu știu sincer la ce anume mă așteptam din partea ei, dar am fost plăcut surprinsă, animalele fantastice, personajele și întâmplările prezentate fiind foarte faine.
Animalul fantastic de care m-am îndrăgostit instant a fost Niffler, goana lui după bijuterii fiind extrem de hazlie. Newt Scamander, protagonistul cărții, a avut un rol foarte interesant, preocupările lui transformându-l într-un personaj de care devii intrigat imediat.
Jacob a fost un alt personaj care mi-a plăcut mult, fiind hazliu, și diferit de ceilalți (mai bine zis, el era cel normal, încuiat, printre toți vrăjitori).
Pentru toți cei care au iubit seria Harry Potter, le recomand cu mare drag această carte fantastică. Poate și pentru voi această carte va fi un prim scenariu de film pe care îl puteți lectura cu drag, în timp ce descoperiți vrăjitorii dintr-o altă epocă.
Cred că această lectură este potrivită pentru oricine, nu doar pentru iubitorii HP. Odată ce începi cartea, nu te vei putea opri. Stilul autoarei te cucerește, și îți va transmite o stare de bine, transferându-te într-o lume încântătoare.

ANGLE ON the Niffler, busy shovelling the beggar’s coins into a pouch in its belly. The Niffler looks up, notices NEWT’s gaze, and hurriedly gathers the rest of the coins before tumbling away and into the bank.” (p.14)“JACOB

Well, may the best man win, I guess.” (p.16)“Suddenly the Niffler is off: scurrying further into the shop and away from NEWT. NEWT whips out his wand.
NEWT
Finestra.The window glass shatters and NEWT leaps inside, seizing at drawers and cupboards, desperate to find the creature. JACOB stares down the street, incredulous as he watches NEWT who, from an outsider’s perspective, appears to be looting the diamond shop.
The Niffler appears, scurrying over NEWT’s shoulders in an attempt to get higher and away from his clutches. NEWT jumps onto a desk after him, but the Niffler is now balancing on a crystal chandeliers.
NEWT reaches out and trips, both he and the Niffler now hanging from the chandelier as it swings wildly round and round.
JACOB looks around the street nervously, checking if anyone else can hear the chaos coming from within the shop.
Finally the chandelier crashes to the floor, smashing. Straight away the Niffler is back up, clambering across cases full of jewellery, NEWT is hot pursuit.” (p.124)
