Two months after dying, seventeen-year-old witch Graylee Perez wakes up in her twin sister Charlene’s body.Until Gray finds a way back inside her own body, she’s stuck being Charlene every twenty-hour hours. Her sister has left precise instructions on how Gray should dress and behave. Looking like a prep isn’t half as bad as hanging out with Charlene’s snotty friends and gropey boyfriend.
The “normals” of McKinley High might be quick to write her behavior off as post-traumatic stress, but warlock Raj McKenna is the only person who suspects Gray has returned from the dead.
Now Gray has to solve the mystery of her death and resurrection and disentangle herself from Charlene’s body before she disappears for good.
***Entangled is a young adult paranormal fantasy romance suitable for ages 15 and up.***
The first book in the series “Spellbound” by Nikki Jefford, “Entangled”, is a really interesting read especially for those who are <20year old.
The books protagonists are two twin sisters, Graylee and Charlene Perez, who have different personalities.
In the first part of the book we find out some things about the two girls and their family: they are witches!
Going to a normal school, the girls are surrounded by few other paranormal characters like the warlock Raj McKenna who… has a crush on Graylee! Graylee’s feelings are somehow mixed but it is clearly that she feels something for the dangerous Raj.
At one point the action becomes strange since I found it that it “popped” out of nowhere: Graylee mysteriously dies and after a ressurection spell gone bad she is stuck in her sister’s body for every 24 hours. The idea of the twin sisters to share the same body was interesting and in this way we could find out more about their personalities.
Those at school are fooled by Graylee who recieved written instructions from Charlene of how to act and what to wear, but Raj discovers that Gray is back!
What is going to happen until the end of the book is for you to find out! There are two more books in the series and I am sure that they are interesting.
“Entangled” was a fast read and it was captivating at times, making you want to find more. The moments with Graylee and Raj were my favourites, of course!
I want to thank Nikki for providing me with an e-book copy of her book. Thank you very much!
Raj wanted Graylee Perez. Hell. He wanted her more than her invisibillity spell. Chances of getting either were somewhere in the ballpark of nil.
